The Rogationist of the Heart of Jesus (RCJ) are a religious congregation of priests and brothers founded by St. Hannibal Mary Di Francia in Messina, Italy, in 1987.
Together with their sister congregation, the Daughters of Divine Zeal, founded in 1887, the Rogationists continue the spiritual and charitable legacy of St. Hannibal.
A man of deep faith and compassionate zeal who dedicated his life to prayer, vocation promotion, education, and service to the poor.
The Gospel Invitation
Their mission is rooted in the Rogate, the Gospel invitation to pray to the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into His harvest. Inspired by this charism, the Rogationists promote a culture of vocations in the Church while dedicating themselves to the education and formation of young people and to the care of the poor, orphans, and those in need.
Today, the Rogationists carry out their mission in communities and missions across five continents, continuing the work of St. Hannibal through vocation promotion, education, pastoral ministry, evangelization, and service to those most in need.
